Error! Literature!
This week I was trying to do some configuration stuff in Maximo 5, an asset management software. But each time I started what they call "Multisite Setup", I found myself on the website of Null, a german literature magazine that ended back in 1999.
"What is that supposed to mean?", I asked myself. Quit your job and do something usefull? Go ahead and die?
I read the manuals over and over again. They stated clearly: Start Multisite Setup from the Control Center, which is some kind of administration environment for Maximo. And over and over I did, hitting ground Null again and again. Since I stumbled over the solution, written down somewhere deep in the installation guide: To administrate Multisite you are not allowed to log in as - administrator!
Which is obviously to obvious to be mentioned elsewhere...
